General Overseer
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, distinguished visitors, mission partners, and friends.
It is my great privilege to welcome you to the official website of the Baptists' Church of Tanzania (BCT).
Since our missionary beginnings in 1956, the Baptists' Church of Tanzania has remained steadfast in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, planting churches, making disciples, developing Christian leaders, and serving communities throughout the United Republic of Tanzania. Guided by the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we continue to fulfill our calling of reaching every generation and every community with the transforming message of Christ.
What we do
The ministries through which the church serves.

Today's verse
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
